DON'T THINK ABOUT IT... JUST DO IT!
By Sha' Givens

Have you ever heard the voice of the Lord pressing you to travel, visit or live in an unfamiliar place? Did you ignore it, thinking possibly you're experiencing a crazy thought? Perhaps a part of you wants to dismiss the unction because the place seems undesirable to you, or because you don't know anyone in that area it seems impossible. Nevertheless, your spirit is unsettled and the idea won't go away. NEWS FLASH: Throughout the new and old testament of the Bible there are numerous examples of men and women who were told by God to travel to and through cities and places that caused uneasiness and discomfort. For instance, Abraham was commanded to leave his home town of Ur and travel to a place he'd never seen. ( Read GENESIS 12:1-6) This "JUST DO IT" example shows us how Abraham made a choice to leave everything and everybody he was comfortable with in order to obey God. In the end Abraham's obedience changed the course of history, which made him the father of nations. One step of faith made the difference in the lives of millions because of Abraham. Remember, wherever you go the Lord is with you. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. He will never steer you in the wrong direction.

(Joshua 1:9) "Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." NKJV
